libregexp-shellish-perl software package provides module for shell-like regular expressions, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libregexp-shellish-perl
libregexp-shellish-perl is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libregexp-shellish-perl package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libregexp-shellish-perl *
You will get with libregexp-shellish-perl package name, version, architecture and description in a table
